January Bulletin
We're back with another bulletin, this one for the month of January! Happy New Year!
Notes
Some announcements from the William B. Ogden Free Library, from their latest newsletter:
-
The William B. Ogden Free Library is celebrating 125 years of serving the Walton community. We hope that you will celebrate with us. Join us as we remember our past and look with great excitement toward the next 125 years. Patrons, community members, and library lovers are invited to stop by the library during regular hours, the week of January 23-27, 2024, to share a memory, look through our history display, make a commemorative bookmark, and have your picture taken for our scrapbook. Tours of all three floors of the library will be available on Saturday from 10:00 AM-1:30 PM.
-
The Ogden Library will be brightening up the winter with our 3rd annual Tiny Art Show. Starting the first week in January, take home kits will be available for teens, ages 15+ and adults. The kits will contain acrylics, a brush, and a tiny canvas. Pick up a kit, sign up and paint whatever you are inspired to paint. Return your finished canvas by January 31. Works will be displayed all month long in February.
-
Do you have interest in serving on the Library’s Board of Trustees? There will be two vacancies this month. Visit the library's website to learn more about the process and to fill out a questionnaire or stop in to the library and we will print a copy for you.
There are also a bunch of library events on the calendar below.
