Feature Film - Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile @ 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM (The Walton Theatre)“POV: You find a singing crocodile in your attic that sounds like Shawn Mendes 🐊🎵 Based on the best-selling book series by Bernard Waber, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, starring Academy Award-winner Javier Bardem, Constance Wu and Shawn Mendes, is a live-action/CGI musical comedy that brings this beloved character to a new, global audience.”
Roxbury Arts Grant Information Session @ 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM (William B. Ogden Free Library)“The library will host a representative from the Roxbury Arts Group who will lead potential applicants through the grant writing guidelines. Note: it is important that a representative of each project attends an information session and reviews the new guidelines carefully. The Roxbury Arts Group is proud to administer the Delaware County Arts Grant, a re-grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, in Delaware County. Delaware County Arts Grant funds are used to support projects in three areas: Community Arts, Creative Learning formerly known as Arts Education, and Individual Artist.”

All the materials needed to make terracotta pumpkin candy dishes will be provided. Crafterwork is a great opportunity for a little bit of self-care and to meet informally with other members of the community.”

Cemetery Scavenger Hunt @ 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Walton Cemetery)“IT'S BACK! This multi-aged event was so much fun last year, that we’ve decided to do it again. Meet Amber at the Civil War monument on memorial drive in the Walton Cemetery for a fun and educational scavenger hunt. Participants will be given a bingo sheet full of new things to find independently. An hour later, meet back up with Amber to discuss your findings. Children must be accompanied by an adult.”
Halloween Hootenanny @ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (The Arc of Delaware County)“Join us for our 2nd Annual Halloween Hootenanny! We'll have Trunk-or-Treating, 'Haunted buses', games, music, and more! Costumes encouraged. Open to the community, and FREE!”

Music Workshop with Acoustic Eidelon @ 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (William B. Ogden Free Library)“A music workshop for all ages featuring Acoustic Eidelon. This duo presents a blend of Celtic, folk, world, and Latin music with Joe Scott on the double neck guitjo and Hannah Alkire on cello. They will weave musical selections with educational content. The workshop is a collaboration between the William B. Ogden Library and Music on the Delaware and is free to the public.”

Edible Book Festival @ 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM (William B. Ogden Free Library)“Calling all creative book lovers who like playing with food! The Library is hosting our first annual Edible Book Festival. Simply make an edible creation that’s inspired from a book, whether it be a title, character, or scene, and bring it to the Library on November 5th. Stay to view the other creations, vote for your favorite, and maybe sample a few good books. The public is welcome to stop by and see what your neighbors have created. Awards will be given in three categories: Judges’ Choice, People’s Choice, and “Punniest” creation. Search the internet to see what others have created and be inspired to create your own. See our website’s calendar page or our circulation desk for the rules and entry form. Entry forms must be received by October 29th, and Edible Books should be brought to the Library on November 5th.”
